The Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings remained undefeated thanks to their bye week, but the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans picked up key wins to round out the top five in the latest NFL power rankings. The Lions dominated the Dallas Cowboys, the Ravens defeated the Washington Commanders, and the Texans defeated the New England Patriots. The rest of the league is still trying to find their place after the top five teams. Looking at the bottom, the race for the No. 1 pick seems to be between a handful of teams as well.

The Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, are 5-0 despite Mahomes’ recent statistical struggles. The Chiefs were able to take advantage of other teams missing opportunities to capitalize on Mahomes’ mediocrity. The Minnesota Vikings, led by Sam Darnold, are also among the top teams in the NFL with a perfect 5-0 record. The Detroit Lions, despite losing Aidan Hutchinson, are considered the top team in the NFC after a strong performance against the Cowboys. The Ravens also secured a win against the Commanders, with Derrick Henry shining on offense.

The Houston Texans, with C.J. Stroud leading the way, are one of the best teams in the AFC, showing consistency in their performances. The Buffalo Bills, led by Josh Allen, are the class of their division but have struggled with consistency in the first six weeks of the season. The Green Bay Packers had a strong win against the Cardinals and appear to be back on track after a few subpar performances. The Atlanta Falcons, after playing close games in the first few weeks, were able to put a team away in their last game.

The Washington Commanders, despite falling to the Ravens, displayed a competitive game and quarterback Jayden Daniels is making a case for Offensive Rookie of the Year. The San Francisco 49ers held their own against the Seattle Seahawks, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers both secured wins. The Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Chargers all had solid performances to move up in the rankings. The Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and Indianapolis Colts faced setbacks in their latest games, while the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans are struggling to find their footing.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and Carolina Panthers are at the bottom of the rankings, with each team facing various challenges this season. The Fox News Digital Sports college football winners and losers were compiled by the Fox News Digital Sports staff and the OutKick.com staff. Teams like the Lions, Ravens, and Texans are making a strong case for being top contenders in the league, while others are facing struggles and challenges that may impact their performance in the coming weeks. The NFL power rankings continue to evolve as teams jockey for position and strive to make their mark in the highly competitive league.
