Suzanne Simpson, a luxury real estate agent in Texas, has been missing for over a month following a reported fight with her husband Brad Simpson, who has been charged with assaulting her prior to her disappearance. Their 20-year-old daughter Chandler believes that her father “took my mother’s life” and has been speaking out about domestic abuse and assault. Despite the charges against him, Brad has not been charged in connection to his wife’s disappearance. Authorities have conducted extensive searches in the area but have not been able to locate Suzanne. Her mother does not believe she is alive, and the community has been vocal in seeking justice for her.

Brad Simpson’s brother has criticized his lack of cooperation with law enforcement in the search for Suzanne, calling it unimaginable and lacking in empathy for the family. Brad’s attorney has called the charges against him ludicrous, but authorities have confirmed that he has been uncooperative. James “Val” Cotter, a longtime friend and business partner of Brad’s, has been accused of hiding Brad’s gun and lying to authorities in an effort to protect him. Cotter has been arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and possessing a prohibited weapon, as his case is related to Suzanne’s disappearance.

Chandler has been using her voice and social media presence to bring awareness to her mother’s situation and speak out against domestic violence in their community. According to her, her mother tried to leave her father but ultimately lost her life. Authorities have been tirelessly working to find Suzanne, conducting searches in wooded areas and a landfill in southeast Bexar County. Despite these efforts, she has not been located. Cotter is seeking to have his bond reduced, which has been set at $1 million, as he faces charges related to Suzanne’s disappearance.

As the investigation continues, family and friends of Suzanne have shown up to court hearings to show support for her and demand justice. While Brad Simpson’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for a later date, Chandler has called for those who stand with her and her family to be present at the hearing to show their solidarity. Through their efforts, they hope to bring Suzanne home and make sure that justice is served. The community has been urged to speak out against domestic violence and work towards better protection for victims, ensuring that situations like Suzanne’s do not occur in the future.
