Lawyers claim that alleged victim in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ case willingly participated in ‘Freak Off’ videos and enjoyed herself

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the hip-hop mogul, is facing charges of drug-fueled sex marathons that he referred to as “Freak-Offs”. His lawyers are claiming that footage of these encounters shows one of his alleged victims enjoying herself and being in control. The lawyers argue that the videos depict adults having consensual sex. They also claim that the woman in the videos appeared happy, dominant, and completely in control. Prosecutors, however, allege that Combs used controlled substances to keep these women compliant during the encounters.

Currently, Combs is in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution charges. Prosecutors have accused him of abusing multiple women and running Bad Boy Records as a criminal organization for over a decade. Allegations suggest that Combs forced his lovers to participate in “Freak-Offs”, which were days-long sexual performances where the women would have sex with male escorts while he watched and masturbated. The feds also claim that Combs secretly filmed these encounters to use as leverage against his alleged victims.

The case first came to light through a civil suit filed by Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who released disturbing footage showing Combs punching and kicking her. The lawyers defending Combs argue that the sex tapes in question do not show sex parties involving other celebrities or minors, underground tunnels, or violence. They have requested access to the footage to prepare their defense, but are currently only allowed to view it under supervision from federal agents due to a protective order.

Combs’ legal team is now asking a judge to loosen the restrictions on accessing the footage and force prosecutors to turn it over. They argue that the government is unfairly criminalizing the sexual behavior of allegedly consenting adults. The defense claims that the prosecution reflects a paternalistic view that undermines women’s ability to make their own decisions about sex. Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted at trial. Federal prosecutors are expected to respond to these arguments in court.

In September 2024, it was reported that Combs had rooms in his Miami mansion dedicated to sex, which included sex toys, bondage gear, hidden cameras, and lingerie. Homeland Security agents who raided the house at that time provided this information. The defense, however, maintains that the videos do not show any evidence of secret cameras, orgies, or the involvement of other celebrities. They are seeking to use the footage as part of their trial evidence and to possibly consult with experts in the case. Despite the controversies and allegations, Combs continues to claim his innocence and is awaiting his trial date.
