Blue Monday falls on the third Monday in January every year, which is considered the most depressing day of the year due to factors like post-holiday letdown, failed resolutions, financial stress, and the dark winter nights.

First introduced in 2005 by a U.K. television channel, Blue Monday was promoted with a specific equation to determine the date and sell products to those feeling the blues in January.

While Blue Monday itself is often dismissed as pseudoscience, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a recognized form of depression that affects many during certain times of the year. Symptoms of SAD include low energy, irritability, sleep disturbances, cravings, and feelings of worthlessness.

To combat the winter blues, individuals can utilize personalized strategies based on their zodiac signs. Aries can benefit from cold treatments like ice rolling, while Taurus can bring life into their home with houseplants.
