Adobe introduces new AI generative tools for Illustrator and Photoshop

Adobe has announced new AI tools in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to accelerate creative workflows and give users more control. The latest version of Illustrator includes tools like Generative Shape Fill, Dimension Tool, Mockup, Contextual Taskbar, Retype, and more. These tools aim to speed up tedious design tasks and allow designers to delve deeper into their work. Photoshop also features new tools like Selection Brush Tool, Adjustment Brush Tool, Type Tool enhancements, and Contextual Taskbar improvements to streamline repetitive tasks and provide better control when working with images.

These new AI tools in Illustrator and Photoshop are powered by Adobe Firefly, a technology that aims to support the creative community in a responsible and transparent manner. Adobe is committed to providing high-quality generative AI models that are safe for commercial use, trained only on licensed content. The company follows AI ethics principles such as accountability, responsibility, and transparency, and ensures that AI development does not involve customer content. The new tools will help creators across all design workflows, making it easier to create variations of advertising and marketing graphics, mock up digital drawings, add patterns to fashion designs, explore different design options for product packaging, and more.
