Jax Taylor revealed to his fans on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD after spending time at an inpatient treatment facility. He expressed feeling scared and emotional upon receiving these diagnoses, but also shared that he has returned home with a newfound sense of peace. Taylor has been open about his struggles with mental health and emphasized the importance of not letting it control you, but rather learning to control it. Despite his fears for the future, he is determined to become a better version of himself each day.

Taylor shares a son, Cruz, with his wife Brittany Cartwright, who filed for divorce from him in August. Their turbulent relationship has been documented on “Vanderpump Rules” and “The Valley.” The couple got married in 2019 and starred in their own spinoff, which aired in 2017. Taylor expressed gratitude for the support he has received from fans and encouraged others to share their personal struggles with him. He acknowledged that mental health is an ongoing battle, but expressed his commitment to working on himself for the sake of his son and his own well-being.

After his time in treatment, Taylor shared a message on Instagram about his journey towards healing and recovery. He mentioned that he was working on getting better for both himself and his son. Alongside Cartwright, he is also involved in the Bravo spinoff “The Valley,” which has started filming for its second season. The cast was seen filming at Jax’s Studio City bar, which was temporarily rebranded as “Britt’s” by Cartwright. She has been open about her love for her son and is seeking joint custody in the divorce proceedings with Taylor.
