Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri married chef Ian Hock in a small ceremony held on June 29 in Hudson Valley, New York. The couple, who announced their engagement in February 2023, wanted to focus on their children and crafted a “French garden party”-themed wedding with a color scheme of pale green and pale blue. The ceremony was intimate with 40 guests in attendance, including Sarandon and her ex Tim Robbins. Amurri and Hock wrote their own love letters to each other to read as vows, and their children played important roles in the ceremony.

Amurri shares three children with her ex-husband Kyle Martino, whom she was married to for eight years until they split in November 2019. This was her second marriage, and she found it easier to plan this wedding due to her previous experience. Amurri decided not to hire a wedding planner and took on the task of crafting the whole vibe of the wedding herself, which she admitted was stressful at times. Despite the challenges, she found the process to be special and enjoyed focusing on the little details to make the day personal.

For her wedding dress, Amurri wore a strapless gown from Kim Kassas that she described as having a vintage feel and being feminine without being overly pouffy. She wanted to feel sexy yet elegant and found the dress to strike the perfect balance. Later in the evening, she changed into a sparkly minidress from Kim Kassas that she paired with Nike Air Force Ones. Hock wore a navy blue suit from SuitShop, which also outfitted Amurri’s two sons and her mother, who wore a white suit with a colorful floral design.

In an exclusive interview, Amurri had previously teased her wedding dress and expressed that she felt more confident in choosing a sexier dress this time around. She felt that the dress reflected who she is as a woman today and was happy with her choice. In planning the wedding, Amurri wanted to keep the focus on their family unit and make the day about the kids as much as it was about her and Hock. The couple worked with their officiant to craft a personal and intimate ceremony and enjoyed celebrating with their nearest and dearest in a beautiful atmosphere.
