Among the standout reveals was the first look at 007 First Light, a game developed by Amazon MGM Studios that explores the origins of James Bond during the 1960s. From the trailer, viewers got an impression of a young and ambitious Bond embarking on international missions. Ghost of Yōtei, a spiritual successor to Ghost of Tsushima, teased gameplay elements but noted that further details would be revealed in July. In terms of remasters, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will offer both the original and an enhanced version with voice acting and improved visuals, releasing on September 30. The quirky Baby Steps promises a surreal adventure focusing on a character’s comedic quest to reach a bathroom, with its release set for September 8. The iconic Mortal Kombat series will see a compilation of over 20 original games titled Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection, coming to PS5 and PS4 in 2025. Lastly, the event featured trailers for highly awaited games like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which showcased updates on bosses and planned crossover elements, and Nioh 3, featuring open-world gameplay set for a release early in 2026.
