A Honduran illegal immigrant named David Hector Rivas-Sagastume has been accused of murdering a Georgia mother of five in a random attack. The 21-year-old faces multiple charges, including rape and necrophilia. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated that Rivas-Sagastume has been the subject of a deportation order since July 2023. The victim, Camilia Williams, a 52-year-old mother of five and grandmother, was found dead in a wooded area in Cobb County, Georgia. Prosecutors have recently filed additional charges against Rivas-Sagastume, including malice murder, aggravated assault, rape, aggravated sexual battery, and necrophilia.

“He was issued a notice to appear and paroled into the country by the previous administration,” according to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security. A judge ordered his removal on July 11, 2023. On March 18, 2025, he was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department for capital murder and other crimes. ICE has placed an immigration detainer on Rivas-Sagastume at the Cobb County Jail. The suspect is currently being held with no bond, according to jail records. ICE emphasized that President Donald Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow criminal illegal aliens, including accused murderers, to roam freely on American streets.
