Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Sues Podcaster Over Claims She’s an Israeli Spy Involved in FBI Chief ‘Honeypot’ Scheme

Country singer Alexis Wilkins has launched a $5 million defamation lawsuit against Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI agent turned podcaster. Wilkins accuses Seraphin of branding her a “honeypot” spy for Israel, sent to compromise her boyfriend, FBI Director Kash Patel, in a malicious campaign that she claims was designed to enhance his podcast’s visibility and financial gain. The lawsuit was filed in Texas, asserting that Seraphin’s unfounded allegations damaged her reputation and career. Wilkins, a 29-year-old conservative Christian artist, insists that Seraphin’s remarks were not only libelous but also financially motivated.

In his August 22 broadcast, Seraphin suggested that Patel’s relationship with Wilkins, who is significantly younger than him, was part of a deceitful plot involving her background as a former “Mossad agent.” While Seraphin did not directly name Wilkins, the lawsuit states that his descriptions made it clear he was referring to her. Wilkins defended her relationship with Patel, which has been public since early 2023, asserting that her personal and professional life has been unfairly targeted for the sake of Seraphin’s podcast ratings.

The lawsuit emphasizes that Wilkins has no ties to Israel or any intelligence agencies, calling Seraphin’s claims “vile and ridiculous.” It also points out that the two had met together at a conservative event alongside Patel two years prior, suggesting that Seraphin was fully aware of her identity. Wilkins’s attorneys argue that the whole notion of her being an Israeli operative is a fabricated narrative that Seraphin constructed purely for sensationalism.

Adding another layer to the defamation claim, Wilkins argues that Seraphin, having a background in the FBI, imbued his statements with unwarranted credibility. The lawsuit asserts that a reasonable person would interpret Seraphin’s assertions as factual rather than comical or satirical. It contends that the manner in which Seraphin presented his information, especially with a provocative voiceover, misled viewers into accepting his claims as truths rather than exaggerated claims.

Wilkins also highlights the racial undertones in Seraphin’s comments, wherein he mocked Patel’s appearance and heritage while questioning the sincerity of Wilkins’s affections. Such remarks are presented in the lawsuit as further evidence of Seraphin’s malicious intent and disregard for the truth. Wilkins’s legal team argues that Seraphin acted with “actual malice”—a requisite standard for defamation cases involving public figures—by knowingly disseminating false information about her.

The implications of these claims extend beyond Wilkins’s trust and reputation in her personal life. As an emerging country singer and a commentator for PragerU, she relies on her public image as a patriotic and conservative individual. The lawsuit claims that Seraphin’s defamatory statements have significantly harmed her standing in the entertainment industry. Despite the gravity of these allegations, Seraphin has not publicly responded to the lawsuit, leaving questions regarding his motivations and the future impact of this case unanswered.
