In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the TODAY Plaza was adorned in pink on October 1st thanks to a special event organized by Shop TODAY contributor and breast cancer survivor Jill Martin. Martin’s new clothing brand, By Jill Martin, collaborated with the NBA and WNBA to raise awareness about breast cancer and genetic testing, specifically related to the BRCA gene mutation. The collaboration featured sherpas with pink NBA and WNBA logos, with proceeds going to the Basser Center for BRCA.
