Nikki Glaser made her mark with plenty of red flags during her live roast on Thursday Night Football. She took aim at the New York Jets and New England Patriots, calling the latter “the only thing Ben Affleck can commit to.” Glaser also poked fun at Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, referring to him as “Throw Rogan” in reference to his friendship with Joe Rogan. She jokingly mentioned Rodgers’ frequent silent retreats, saying he can’t stop talking about them, and compared him to someone who buys beer for teenagers.

Admitting she was new to football, Glaser joked about her lack of knowledge of the game’s terms, quipping that she used to think the “two-minute warning” was something a guy gave you one minute into sex. However, she expertly addressed former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who had recently left the franchise after 24 seasons. Glaser made jokes about Belichick rebounding with a Black coach after his departure and referenced his rumored relationship with a 24-year-old woman named Jordon Hudson.

Glaser threw in a timely reference to the January 6th events, joking that she hadn’t seen a group of Patriots take an L (loss) that bad since that day. She also made a lighthearted jab at Belichick, mentioning that he was too busy watching children’s YouTube channel Blippi with his girlfriend. Additionally, she didn’t hold back when it came to roasting her cohosts on the show, specifically targeting anchor Charissa Thompson, likening her to the final boss at a country club.

Despite her bold humor, Glaser’s segment was well-received, and she announced that her “Late Hits” segment would return four more times throughout the season. Her comedic timing and sharp wit brought a fresh and entertaining perspective to the postgame show, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her future appearances. Glaser’s ability to navigate the lighthearted banter and roast her fellow hosts and sports figures showcased her talent as a comedian and solidified her place as a key contributor to the Thursday Night Football lineup.
