CNA reporter Matthew Mohan had an interesting assignment – to be interrogated by a group of preschoolers who had read his story about trying to live plastic-free for a week. The preschoolers were eager to learn more about Mohan’s experience and how he managed to avoid using plastic during that time. They asked him a series of questions, ranging from how he dealt with everyday items like toothbrushes and straws to whether he missed using plastic.

Mohan shared his insights with the curious preschoolers, explaining that he had to make some adjustments in his daily routine to avoid using plastic. He noticed that plastic was everywhere, from the packaging of his food to the use of plastic bags and straws. Mohan also mentioned that he had to find alternatives to his usual plastic items, such as using a bamboo toothbrush and metal straws instead.

The preschoolers were fascinated by Mohan’s efforts to go plastic-free, and they were curious to know more about the impact of plastic on the environment. Mohan explained to them that plastic pollution is a serious problem that affects marine life and pollutes the environment. He emphasized the importance of reducing our use of plastic and finding more sustainable alternatives to protect the planet.

During the interview, the preschoolers also asked Mohan about his challenges and whether he missed using plastic. Mohan shared that he faced some difficulties in finding plastic-free alternatives for certain items and that he did miss the convenience of using plastic. However, he also mentioned that he felt proud of his efforts to reduce his plastic consumption and hoped to inspire others to do the same.

Overall, the preschoolers were impressed by Mohan’s dedication to going plastic-free for a week and were inspired to make changes in their own lives. They expressed their appreciation for Mohan’s story and for raising awareness about the importance of reducing plastic waste. Mohan was pleased to see the impact of his article on the young children and hoped that his experience would motivate others to take action against plastic pollution.

In conclusion, Mohan’s experience of living plastic-free for a week and being grilled by a group of preschoolers highlighted the importance of reducing plastic consumption to protect the environment. The interview with the preschoolers showed that even young children are aware of the impact of plastic pollution and are eager to learn more about sustainable living practices. Mohan’s story serves as a reminder of the need for individuals to make conscious choices to reduce their plastic use and to inspire others to take action to protect the planet for future generations.
