Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are in luck with the announcement of a new double XP weekend. This event will offer a “quad feed” double XP boost, allowing players to progress through prestiges, level up new event weapons, earn rare GobbleGums, and make their way through the season 2 battle pass. The double XP weekend is set to run from Friday, March 28, to Monday, March 31, providing players with universal double player XP, double weapon XP, and double GobbleGum earn rates.
During the double XP weekend, players will be able to take advantage of a double battle pass XP boost, which will help them advance through tiers more quickly as season 2 of Black Ops 6 draws to a close. Additionally, with double weapon XP, players can level up the PPSh-41 SMG and the TR2 marksman rifle from the season 2 battle pass and Shadow Hunt event, respectively. The double GobbleGum drop rate feature will also allow players to acquire more of the new Dead Drop, Modified Chaos, and Quacknarok GobbleGums.
The double XP weekend is scheduled to start on Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m. ET. Players in different time zones can expect the event to begin at various times, such as 12 p.m. CT, 11 a.m. MT, and 10 a.m. PT. It is recommended to start the game before the event begins to download any necessary patches and update the application. The event will conclude on Monday, March 31, providing players with a limited time to take advantage of the double XP boost.
Call of Duty Warzone players will also benefit from the double XP weekend, with the opportunity to earn double player XP and double weapon XP during the event. This allows players to level up weapons from the Warzone Armory and unlock attachments for Black Ops 6 weaponry integrated into Warzone. While there is no double battle pass XP available during this event, players can still enjoy the benefits of double player XP, double weapon XP, and double GobbleGums in the Zombies game mode.
In terms of double XP tokens, players will not be able to use them during the event as they are locked for the duration of the double XP weekend. Any remaining double XP time on the account will be frozen until the event concludes. This double XP weekend provides an opportunity for Black Ops 6 players to make significant progress in leveling up, unlocking new weapons, and advancing through the battle pass before the season 2 of the game comes to an end.
