The Club for Growth, a leading conservative organization aligned with President Donald Trump, is gearing up for the 2026 election cycle. The organization focuses on fiscal conservatism, advocating for tax cuts and other economic issues. Their political arm, the Club for Growth Action super PAC, has been a key player in GOP primary elections. In the 2024 cycle, they raised $163 million and won 73% of the races where they made investments. They plan to increase their investments in the 2026 cycle to strengthen Republican majorities in the House and Senate.

The Club for Growth relies on donors to fund their political investments. They hope to work closely with President Trump and his political team to support candidates who align with his agenda of free market and limited government conservatism. The organization has had a rocky relationship with Trump in the past, but they made peace about a year ago. Trump has since endorsed the Club’s efforts and they plan to collaborate on important policy initiatives and legislation.

The Club for Growth Action is planning an eight-figure federal advocacy campaign to support the Trump administration’s pro-growth, free-market initiatives. A key focus of the campaign will be to expand and permanently codify the Trump tax cuts passed during his first term. They are also advocating for federal school freedom legislation, which would enable parents to use federal tax dollars to choose the best schooling option for their children.

The Club for Growth Action has a history of targeting and defeating GOP incumbent state lawmakers who oppose their initiatives. Last year, they successfully defeated 10 lawmakers in Texas who opposed school choice legislation. This year, they continue their efforts in five other states where similar bills are being considered. The organization is also hosting its annual donor retreat in Palm Beach, Florida, where notable conservative politicians and donors will attend.

The retreat will feature speakers like Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Marsha Blackburn, as well as Governors Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott. Discussions will focus on important conservative issues and potential future political runs. Representatives from key states like Florida and Ohio, where gubernatorial races are approaching, will also be in attendance. The Club for Growth is focused on expanding its influence and supporting candidates who align with their conservative values in the upcoming election cycle.
